The main bottleneck in building your town is Chrono. Chrono in particular in the early stages is needed to build the better, higher age buildings and troop buildings. No roads are required.
The only troops required are artillery, starting off with the catapults supplied then trebuchet and finishing up with cannons.
Euphoria is best provided by gallows and pillories after the initial set up.
Group of trees (2×2) defence and tower ruin (2×2) attack for decorations. Both require 200 chrono and require very little additional euphoria.
Starting town
2 expansions, 6 multistorey houses, 9 tanneries and 7 market places. Fighting with catapults

After first collection
2 gallows added, 4 market place replaced with tanneries. 2 gallows allows removal of the 4 marketplace and keeps Euphoria up.

After second collection
Replace Tannery with spice trader. Adds extra chrono production and boosts supply production

After 3rd collection
A bit more complicated. The objective is to add a 2 further expansions paid for with ropes. I was not totally organised when I did this but I hope you get the gist

Clear some space by removing more market places and add a frame house and a ropery. Make enough rope to add 2 expansions then delete the ropery. Then build 2 more gallows to get euphoria back up and build 4 breweries
Final configuration should look something like this with 1 frame house, 6 multistorey houses, 1 market place 4 breweries, 1 spice trader and 4 gallows, 11 tanneries. Fighting with catapults.

After 4th Collection
Remove 2 tanneries. Build apartment house, gallows and trebuchet

Collection 5
Easy one. Leave as is. Need to get Chrono up to 1000 which will happen after the next collection
Collection 6
It is obvious now that the rebalancing in beta has substantially reduced coin production and boosted supplies so time to switch around a bit to pick up coin production. Delete the last market place and build a manor house. Costs 1000 chrono but boosts coin production. Delete 1 multistorey house, and 2 tanneries build 2 gallows 1 brewery 1 frame house. Lets see how that works out!
We now have 6 multistorey, 1 frame house 1 manor and 1 apartment for residential, 6 gallows, 5 brewery, 1 spice trader, 4 tannery for supplies and trebuchet camp.

Collection 7
Coins and supply production now more or less in balance. Chrono production now up to 1000 /collection which is probably enough. Deleted tannery and built the first 2 decorations. Group of trees for blue or tower ruin for attack. Using Trebuchets

Monday morning
Another decoration added, tannery removed and cannon camp. Update – delay replacing trebuchet camp with cannons if you can still fight OK. I finished up fighting with trebuchets all the way through and they use fewer coins and supplies to make. Use the chrono to get a better supply or residential building instead.

Monday Evening
Built a pillory for extra Euphoria, added 3 more decorations removed 1 tannery. I think everything is pretty much set now. Just a case of building decorations and removing. Supply buildings when necessary. Still using Trebuchet. Switching to cannons tomorrow. (I didn’t! Trebuchet still good)

Tuesday morning
Replace 1 multistorey with a manor house to boost coins and chrono. Build 4 more decorations. Trebuchet are still fine for fighting

Evening
Delete Tannery and build 4 more decorations. Trebuchet still good

Wednesday
Delete spice trader and tannery and add 3 more decorations

Evening
Delete 2x Brewery build beekeper, make honey for another expansion, delete beekeper, build 2 spice traders and 4 more decorations. I think the fifth expansion will be needed so best to do it now.

Thursday
First off is just a straight collection. Build troops if you need them.
Evening
Sell 2 tannery, move things around as necessary and build a bakery (rush it with shards) and 2 decorations. Still using trebuchet.

Friday
Remove 2 multistorey houses and build 2 decorations. Trebuchet hanging on in there.
Evening
Rinse and repeat. Remove 2 multistorey houses and build 2 more decorations
Saturday
Delete 2 tanneries and build 3 more decorations. Your town should now be mostly decorations! I am still using Trebuchet!

Sunday
Time, as they say in poker, to go all in! Leave yourself a supply and residential building in the morning. Delete anything else. Build your army numbers up, 80+ to be on the safe side, then spend the rest on decorations. You should have A/D stats at over 2000 by now.
After the final collection you should have only decorations left plus gallows / pillory.

And there you have it 😊
