Hot Biscuit’s Guide to Quantum Incursions:
STARTING CONSIDERATIONS:
- Have 200 shards saved for rushing 4 bakeries later on – essential!
1ST BUILD:
Start with as many expansions as possible (All up to and including the 550 one is good). It helps to have as many shards saved from the previous QI session to buy expansions: around 2400-2800 is ideal, but this guide works with whatever you have. Never spend shards at the end of a QI session unless it is the end of season. For anyone who sometimes uses diamonds, using diamonds for another extra 1000-2000 shards at the start of each new QI season will help because your QI city will progress faster, enabling you to have more shards for next session.
You don’t need supplies yet, so fill your city with houses: a 3-1 ratio of Multi’s/Estates. (You want houses and not supplies right now, because x9 houses at 150% is 135 alloys, compared to only 60 alloys with x4 tanneries).

FIRST COLLECTION
Replace square areas of 9 multi’s with x4 Churches until you have the 150% resources bonus, then collect from all other houses.
For your upcoming 2nd collection, you want to have:
SECOND BUILD
- Multistoreys + Estates (3-1 ratio)
- 8 Tanneries
- 1 Ropery (for building an expansion)
- 2 Alchemists
- Place another expansion (or two) if you’re able to (and fill with houses)

SECOND COLLECTION
1) Collect from houses first, following the same removal as in the first collection until you get the 150% bonus i.e. remove+place churches.
2) Once you’ve collected from all houses, start removing houses and building Breweries. Each one will give +20% supplies to each of your tanneries.
3) Because your population has dropped, you won’t need as many churches for the 150% bonus: remove the churches for more breweries.
4) Once you maxed out breweries, collect from each tannery 1 at a time, and replace each with a brewery. Replacing even the last tannery with a brewery will give a +20% bonus to your 2 Alchemists (5,760 supplies total).
5) Now collect from the 2 alchemists, because they pay out slightly more than the tanneries and pay out a lot more alloys (113 each with the 150% bonus)
THIRD BUILD (and onwards)
If you have enough alloys (you need 2000 saved!), build x2 Bakeries, and pay the 100 shards to rush them (make sure to save 100 shards for this!). If you somehow cannot afford 2 Bakeries yet, consider building Frame houses for the alloy production. Each one will give 113 alloys (at 150%) instead of 15 from a Multistorey, enabling you to collect more alloys for your next collections.

4TH BUILD
Aim to build 2 more Bakeries, for 4 total. Obviously rush them again, have 100 shards saved for this.

5TH BUILD
Build 1 or 2 doctors: You may now have 7 Tanneries so that you optimise space, unless you have an expansion with an impediment in which case you can place it there. You now need to start having doctors to reduce the number of churches you need on each collection. I recommend maxing out at 6 doctors later on because if you use 8 doctors you will get -40% supplies (2 less breweries) for your Bakeries.
Aim to build 2 more Bakeries, for 4 total. Obviously rush them again, have 100 shards saved for this.
You may place your first Clapboard at this point (after building 4 bakeries and 2 doctors). You might also consider Frame Houses. You can build 5 Frame Houses for the cost of 1 Clapboard, and 5 Frames will give 565 alloys per collection, but a Clapboard will only give 300. Don’t go too insane on Clapboards though, every 9 special houses means 4 less breweries, and you want to max out at 8 or more Clapboards.
THE PATH AHEAD
You should know what you’re doing by now. You want to max out somewhere between 4 and 8 Bakeries. With enough bonuses, 4 will be ok, but you probably want 6. 8 will be difficult due to population requirements (and increasing population means more houses you can’t replace with breweries at collection time).
For end goals, you want to be producing 8000-10,000 alloys per collection, as you will need 40,000+. When you have enough to that amount, you4 can start filling your city with doctors, but consider alloys and supplies needed for statues. On my main city I only need 18 statues for 1800% attack, but on other worlds I sometimes need 48 statues!
LAST DAYS
Ideally, you want your city filled with doctors (and statues) with 4+ days left in the QI session, but this is purely optimal. If you’re still collecting supplies + alloys in the last 2 days 10+hrs, you want to immediately place doctors and decorations, otherwise you will lose out on too many extra movement points. For 4×4 spaces you can instead use x2 Cartographers and 4 statues. 2×2 spaces can be used for Pillories, or alternatively Tower Ruins/Group of Trees if your attack bonus is seriously low. In the above case with placing in the last 2 days 10+hrs, you might keep some Clapboards for alloy production. You can build either Tower Ruins or Groups of Trees (not both!), and in follow up collections you can remove these and place statues when you have enough alloys.
For the last day, I recommend 1800%+ attack. 1600% or less is doable, depending on whether you’re relying on the guild to unlock the coins/supplies node on the last full day, and whether or not you do more attacks the last morning.
